Description

A wine from the Mosel which appears with a very present fruit and a bloomy note. Our Rosé ist the perfect wine for summer. It is light as well as fruity and if you take it out of the fridge on hot summer days, it just tastes great. Try it to barbecues, pasta, light meat, antipasti and tapas or just drink it well chilled at any kind of celebration.

You want to know how we make the Rosé at our winery? Here we go: After the red grapes are getting picked in harvest, we collect them in a big barrel but do not squeeze the juice immediately out of the grapes. Until here the process is similar to the red wine production. The big difference is the time of mashing. The grapes do not stay for a long time in the barrel, just as long as the juice gets a light red gleam which is the typical colour for Rosé wine. As a result you get a light, fruity wine with a great colour as well as an outstanding taste and even if the procedure does not distinguish so much from the red wine production, you get a completely different type of wine.
