Description

Our Pinot Blanc you can drink to each occasion. It is a wine which fits to nearly everything and does not need a reason to be opened. This dry white wine convinces with a genteel acidity and some discreet aromas of nuts. Furthermore, the dry character fits very good to the Pinot Blanc and is typical for this variety. With regard to food pairing, this white wine from our winery can be served to light dishes with fish or chicken as well as to see food and pasta. This dry Pinot Blanc from the Mosel also fits well to the summer months in general because it apperas light and fruity.

The variety Pinot Blanc belongs to the family of Burgundy wines as the Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. At the beginning when the grapes start growing, it is hard to see a difference between the three varieties but the bigger the wine grapes get, the more the particular characteristics with regard to appearance, flavor and taste come to light. In Germany the Pinot Blanc covers just 4 % of the total vineyards and grows especially where it is too cold for the Riesling. Overall this grape variety is getting more and more attractive and we see an increasing demand for this white wine at the Mosel.

Seit Jahren unser Lieblingswein. Er passt zu allen Gelegenheiten und ist uns auf Grund des besonders niedrigen Säuregehaltes sehr angenehm zu trinken. Durch die sehr gute Webseite kann man solche Werte sehr gut vergleichen
