The varietal "Regent" is a pretty special red wine grape variety, which is pretty rare in the wine landscape of Germany. Regent was established in 1995, is extremely resistant and brings nearly each harvest very healthy red wine grapes to our winery. With those grapes we are able to make a great red wine from the Mosel which convinces through a nice and deep colour as well as heady and tasteful aromas.
This dry Regent is a high quality red wine and its grapes come from the hillside of the Mosel valley where they got a lot of sun which cause their great development. Besides beef and venison it also fits to lamb and cheese. Also a combination with dark chocolate fits well to this dry red wine from our winery.
